An attempt to write a love letter but failed.

I will make ANOTHER attempt to write a love letter.

.

But my creative juice won’t let me.

No signs of any drop.

So, I quit.

The last time we saw each other was 2 weeks ago. Funny how I wanted days like that, quite expecting you changed a bit like you have double bags under your eyes, or perhaps your side whiskers that I adore have grown long but  when I looked at you, nothing really changed.

Face to face we were, you still never fail to draw a large smile on my face and make my heart beat double time. You were even defensive that you are not late and I just came earlier.

I didn’t get off my eyes from you as you were explaining, watching every motion you do, and tracking what-might-be-that-change-question-mark on your face.

And then you held my hand and said “Let’s go?”

“Okay”.

Your hand I felt it, it was warm and soft. It slid through my left hand. Then, automatically our fingers locked together.

No, nothing really changed.  I’m still with the same person. I’m still holding the same hand. Then, I smiled secretly.

Nothing really has changed except for the feelings I have for you. The distance made me miss you. Now, I can feel the press of your hand against my own. I am saved. I am saved from dreaded days of not seeing you. All I know, there’s something grinning from the inside… a feeling mixed with ecstasy and ineffable affection.

Ahem… I am very confident that NOT AT ANY CHANCE he will come to read this. Baka sabihin niya masyado ko siyang mahal. Ano ka naman, swerte niya ha!?!

Ayan, wala ng love letter.

I will make ANOTHER attempt to write a love letter TOMORROW.
