Meeny-Miny-Meow

The comfort of sleeping seems to induce me these past few weeks as if I am a preschooler, who will have classes the next day. 7am is my waking time. That makes it 10 hours of slumbering the night away. But I won’t trade it! Pinaghirapan ko ata to. ‘Cause for the whole month of September I’ve been battling with the clocks and gods on how-to-get-a-nice-sleep.

But this week, something has been bugging me during the waking and sleeping moments of my bum’s tamb’s life.

Pruritus. It’s all over my upper arms; some are on my thighs and back. I’m not really sure on my back but I get the usual itch. I already took antihistamines but nothing happened.

Well, I have hunch about the possible aggravating factors that led me to this bitchy itch.

(1)I was teasing my mom that she had washed my clothes using naphthalene. Because the strong smell of the chemical was all over my clothes. Sinisi pa ko, para daw sa cockroaches yun kasi raw nawala naman ako ng 6 months sa bahay. Ano daw gusto ko magamoy ipis at poopoo nila ang mga damit ko?Pero di naman ako nangati last month. Let’s do it the Kaplan way. Incorrect answer. Eliminate.

(2) I thought it was from my four small pillows and Brenan (emman’s doggie/stuff toy), so I had them cleaned and washed. But still the itch is there. Incorrect. Eliminate the answer.

(3) The soap that I’ve been using is different from the soap they use. Since mother dear hasn’t done her groceries yet, I have to use theirs because I run out of soap. Possible answer. Leave it in for consideration.

But I shifted into hypoallergenic soap just yesterday, and the pruritus is still present.

(4)Last Sunday, I was buying softdrinks at the store. I saw a cat, sitting contentedly and licking his paws. What really got my attention, aside from the fact that I hate cats so much; I noticed that its eyes were different. It has one brown eye (right) and one blue eye (left).

Icka: HA! Ang weirdo naman ng pusa magkaiba ang mata!
Lady: ang cute nga niya eh
Icka: di kaya para kaya siyang timang!!
Icka: Hoy pusa! I HATE YOU! HA! (I shouted.)

Then, the poor cat left. 4 is the correct answer since it’s the only choice remaining.
