Me, going nowhere

I’m back in the real world. REAL WORLD. You know the place. It’s where we repeatedly feel the painful sense that there’s more to life than we are experiencing.

Oops. But I bet we are in different paths. And basically, it’s about the choices that we make for ourselves.

Hey, if by chance you passed by me, please don’t hesitate to hold my hand and bring me back to the right track I am supposed to travel on. Oftentimes, I am pulled into directions of stupidity. My optimism, courage and determination are half-filled keeping me in a sluggish, long-drown-out pace. Hate it.

All of a sudden, I found an abandoned bike across the road and have used it for my own sake. I felt a lil’ clever that I can trick my journey to go as fast as I can and travel without killing my feet and toes. Yup. It thus kept me going. But I was reckless to see that I have reached a place called NOWHERE.

A place where lost souls rove and meet. I have seen them tapping each other’s shoulder with exchange conversations of “You going nowhere?”, ”Me, nowhere too” followed by a smirk on their faces. Stupid souls. You still have the nerve to react like that for having been bounded with the same fate.

“Being aware of your crap and actually overcoming your crap are two very different things.”

– Cristina Yang (Kung Fu Fighting – Grey’s Anatomy)

Too tired I was. So, I sat at the street corner facing a post with “nowhere” sign. Instead of seeing myself on how long I can hold a note that will surely passes time, I cured my boredom with a jumbled word game using the word “nowhere”. Not much fun either.

My amusement potential starts here:

“won, hen, whore, her, ore, ewe, own, horn, worn, on, no, hoe, were, when?, now, where?, here”

“when?, now, where?, here

“n-o-w____h-e-r-e”

“It could be Now Here”.

Walking closer to the street post, I confronted myself with a question – “Why only now?”

Then, I stood under the post like a kid waiting to be fetched.

Last words uttered – “You know self, you know what you want. You just don’t know what you’re willing to give up for it.”

Tanom granted me this award. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

More power to your techie bloggie.
